FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can our family still have a traditional funeral with your cremation service?

Absolutely! Call us to get arrangements started. Family can have service at their venue/church of choice or use

our facility. Ask your director about a 'funeral with cremation.'

Can we still have burial for our loved one?

Absolutely! We can arrange a direct burial which (like our direct cremation) is an immediate disposition option

that can be considered simple or easy.  You may also opt for a funeral to go along with burial for your loved one.

Ask your director about a 'funeral with burial.'

Since you're discounted, is your staff licensed?

Yes, any establishment operating in the state of Missouri requires a licensed funeral director on staff.  Our

crematories must also have proper licenses and certifications in place. We could not serve you to the best of

our abilities without our credentials.

Do you have urns available?

Yes, we have an on-site selection so that the piece you see and select will be exactly what you get.  No long

drawn out delays waiting for urns ordered online to arrive.  They are already here.  Also, ask your director about

keepsakes and jewelry.

Are there any veteran discounts?

We LOVE veterans at Discount STL Cremation and appreciate their service to our country, however our price

points are already substantially lower than our industry counterparts so we would be honored when you decide

to allow us to serve you and your family as we take good care of your dearly departed veteran. Ask your director

about additional services available specifically for veterans.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cards (credit or debit), money order, cashier's check and/or life insurance assignment. Please communicate with

your director if another payment option is desired or works better for your family. Also, be advised that there may

be charges for the convenience of card usage including but not limited to refunds if and when applicable.

What are your hours of operation?

Our phone lines are 24/7, however to come into the office for arrangements or retrieving cremated remains please

schedule an appointment with your director.

Can you still serve us in Illinois?

We definitely can! If you reside in IL and/or your loved one passed away in IL we can still serve your family.
